One of my core beliefs is that people are capable of goodness and hope yet can become stuck in hard patterns of living. My practice is about enhancing your life by encouraging healthy processing of thoughts, feelings and experiences.
Often clients may be experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, identity issues, parenting issues, grief and loss, and life stage transitions. My strengths based approach, using compassion, humor, and insight, creates a safe, caring, and trusting environment for you to improve your mental health and relationships. We work to understand how life events and personality have co-created certain patterns of behaviors in relation to other people. We work to change the problematic patterns through insight, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and other modalities.
Non-judgmental spaces are integral in processing life experiences. I work to create a safe and secure environment for you to slow down and explore what you want out of therapy. My goal is for you to walk out of my office emotionally healthier than when you began.
